Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us at admin@aandspodiatry.com.au or give us a call on 0493 252 783 if you have any further questions!

No, you do not require one, though if any documentation has been provided by your Doctor please bring this with you.

A GP may offer you a Chronic Disease Management Plan (previously known as EPC plan). If you are eligible, this plan provides a Medicare rebate from the cost of the consultation similar to when you see a Specialist.

We do not bulk bill.

Bulk billing limits our ability to devote the necessary time and resources to each individual. Our mission is to provide a customised, high-quality service that goes beyond the constraints of bulk billing. If you're on an EPC/CDM plan, we can process your Medicare claim, and you'll receive a $60.35 rebate.

We accept and can process health fund rebates on the spot for most major health funds, making our services accessible while maintaining quality services.

Yes! Podiatrists can refer for bulk billed x-rays however ultrasounds and MRIs may attract additional costs by the imaging company.

Our initial consultations vary from 40 minutes to an hour. Follow up appointments generally range from 20-30 minutes.

In all of the clinics, EFTPOS and HICAPs terminals are used. NDIS, DVA and WorkCover patients are accepted.

For home visit services through A & S Podiatry, Medipass allows for cash and card payments as well as Health Fund/Medicare rebates on the spot. When booking please confirm how you would like to pay.

Please check with your Health fund to see if you are covered for Podiatry in your extras.

If using NDIS please ensure you provide us with a copy of the plan.

If you are presenting with concerns of foot pain, it would be helpful to bring:

- Any prior imaging (including reports)

- Your most commonly worn shoes

- Any old/new orthoses, custom or otherwise

- Comfortable clothing such as shorts or active wear that allows us to see your knees when standing and assess your lower limbs while laying down

Currently, home visit services are provided through A & S Podiatry in the Campbelltown/Camden government areas.

The private consult fee is $120 per visit.

There is often some discomfort, however local anaesthetic is used which numbs the affected toe to allow us to clear the ingrown portion.

It can be helpful to seek antibiotics prior to attending to settle any infection.

General footcare is a medical treatment and for us to perform a proper assessment must be able to see your feet as naturally as possible, please remove all nail polish including shellac and SNS prior to the consultation.
