However, if your GP has prepared a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan — previously called an Enhanced Primary Care or EPC plan — you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $64.30 on up to five allied health visits per calendar year, including podiatry. Speak to your GP to find out whether you qualify, then book with us as normal.
Yes, most private health insurance extras policies include podiatry. We process your health fund rebate on the spot via HICAPS, so you only pay the gap on the day. Yes, we see DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs) card holders with a valid GP referral. We bill DVA directly for eligible services, so there is generally no out-of-pocket cost for DVA patients. Bring your DVA card to your appointment and we will take care of the claiming for you.
Yes, A&S Podiatry accepts workers compensation patients and welcomes referrals from all insurers, including EML, GIO, Allianz, and all others.
